Movie Review by Jimmy
November 5th, 2009

W.T.F?

This movie could have been excellent. It had potential to be one of the best romantic comedies in the last 20 years. It was completely original in it's portrayals and the acting was outstanding.

But, if you start breaking down the characters, this movie is pretty unbelievable.

Woman is a shut in who is addicted to porn. Man is a video store clerk who is infatuated with her. It's the usual plot from there. Only this has a twist. Woman is disgusting cruel to Man and he laps it up like a dog. He's beyond a Saint. Scenes are natural but forced beyond belief.

This is a movie for wise ass, coffee drinking, poetry reading intellectuals who are in on the "big secret" that the rest of us beer guzzling, McDonalds eating, Playboy reading slobs aren't. The problem is, it doesn't make sense.

For all those that "get it": Breaking down the big picture of a movie is easy. Taking it scene by scene, emotion by emotion, choice by character choice, this movie makes no sense. Sorry.
