Movie Review by Tim

Lovin me some Rourke..

Favorite Movie Quote: "You got to know what your doing when you go in..dont hang around..dont get interested..then you dont make mistakes."

This film was pretty average I think I liked it a little more then most people would just because I like Mickey Rourke and Diane Lane a lot. No Diane Lane does not get naked in the film..this is not Unfaithful..

The problem with this film is that the plot is just really stupid and back to the basics..it centers solely on Rourke's character which is a hitman trying to murder a witness that saw him basically do nothing that bad. It seems rather pointless why he is making such an effort to kill and woman and her husband that saw him try to rob a real estate broker. Rourke's believes that you never leave any witnesses alive and that's fine when they saw you kill someone or something but making a witness to a robbery this big of a deal was just silly.

His partner Richie Nix seemed at first that he would liven the script up but he became very annoying the character is just too extreme, careless and sloppy. It didn't match well with Rourke's Armand 'The Blackbird' Degas hitman vibe.

Not much action and not much drama just a regular old movie that is worth watching once.
