Rachel Getting Married (2008)

Lovely
As someone who is planning a wedding right now, this film really spoke to me about how genuine love can be and how a wedding can truly reflect the unique nature of a relationship.
The story follows Kim (Anne Hathaway) who is fresh out of rehab and off to her sister's nuptials at their father's home. Hathaway is astounding. Forget everything she has done before, this is the birth of a new American screen legend. I expect the Oscar noms will only continue from here.
Kim is a selfish drama queen, but it is also the worst timing ever as her sister, Rachel (RoseMarie Dewitt), finally wants to capture some attention but Kim is just trying to readjust.
This is a raw, real and lovely film. The cast is amazing. I can't wait to watch it again.
