I am more confused now...
Favorite Movie Quote: "Survival of the fittest my ass!"
I dont know if its just me but the last two Saw films being part 4 and 5 have confused the sh*t out of me. So much backstory and flashbacks that I never know what time period I am watching.
People are trashing this film and I am surprised that people are actually offended that this franchise has went downhill? Its amazing that these films are actually still coming out in the theatres and you know if we are already at part 5 in the theatres that we will easily get to part 10 by direct to DVD releases.
Yes the film is not as riveting as the first one. We went from an awarding winning primetime actor like Danny Glover to freaking to Donnie Wahlberg....and people wonder why the films have went downhill? Also how much do you really expect out of this plot...its about a guy that kills people with games...you can only rewrite these games and deaths so many different ways before it all becomes repetitive.
Saw is a cash cow...thats why the films are still being made. People do not go see a Saw film for plot, story or characters...they go because they want to see the gore and cringe in their seat as they think about a power saw cutting their hands off or being forced kill someone to stay alive. You want a real story then do not go see a horror movie...these films are made to scare you or to thrill you and I think Saw does just that.
