Movie Review by Krissy
June 20th, 2009

They used the book as a door stop

Can someone remind me how this movie was based on the book? No, really, I must be confused. Other than the characters having the same name and a line or two here ....or there, this movie is nothing...let me repeat, nothing like the book. Based on the events of the movie, how two people could have formed the life long, out look on life changing bond that they shared is beyond me.
I really just don't have anything to say about this movie. It was a 7.5 on the Blah Scale. Though, I can say that those OreoCakesters are the bomb baby. I mean I'm not a fan of Oreo's, but man those cakesters are awesome; mmmm mmm with a tall glass of cold milk...yoowwers, some good eat'n. Dude just sitting here thinking about them, has got me all ready for one...Kroger's here I come!!!

I didn't read the book (don't like Sparks), but I watched this because you can't say you don't like certain people's movies if you don't watch them, right? I thought this was OK, but didn't understand in the slightest how they fell in love so fast or why she got so torn up in the end.

the book explained things better but it was boring-cookie cutter at best; which to me Sparks does a lot in his books. I only read it because it was the only book in the house that day and then I guess at some point I had put on my blockbuster online thing. Eh, don't bother reading the book. And the whole horses at the end...where the hell did that come from I wonder???
