Biggest Shock Of The Year
Favorite Movie Quote: "Go inside Grace! Your messing with the wrong family on the wrong day a**hole."
This was the biggest surprise ever.... I hated the Punisher movie with Thomas Jane. I always said that you know your movie sucks when Dolph Lundgren has a version of your film that is better then yours. I didn't even want to see this movie but I watched it with a friend and was blown away.
The first Punisher just sucked... it didnt grasp what the character was supposed to be like. In fact the only thing I liked about it was that my favorite wrestler Kevin Nash was in it as the Russian.
In this one the story and actors aren't perfect but that's not the point of the film. This is a rated R comic book film that finally shows the brutality of The Punisher. I mean the violence couldn't have been better. This is the Rambo of comic book films and probably the most violent film (right under Rambo) that I have ever seen. I loved it.
Doug Hutchison was even in it which was Percy from The Green Mile...it was great to see him again as well.
You have to watch this movie to understand what the punisher is all about...he is about killing people and not killing them nicely to appease the pu**y's... its brute, graphic violence displayed flawlessly.

| Sorry, couldn't disagree with you more. Where highly violent movies can sometimes entertain and even engage me, this was just laughable from the onset. Worst PUNISHER version that I've seen. Although I haven't seen the Dolph one, but I enjoy him because even though he comes off like an idiot, he's actually an educated man with an extraordinarily high IQ. Not that that has anything to do with his movies, but eh... |

The first Punisher was sooo bad that I could have cared less to even see this one...but my buddy had it on one night and I caught the first 15 mins of it and begin intrigued.
Also I like Dolph, I use him for a reference simply for the fact that besides Rocky 4, Universal Soldier and The Punisher what else can you name off the top of your head that he has starred in?? Probably not many and he has done an ass load of films...mostly straight to video.
Your opinion is also somewhat biased being that you date a comic book junkie that of course would hate this film because its not up to standards for the comic book geeks.
Thanks for the input
