Movie Review by Lisa
May 9th, 2008

This movie is an EPIC, because that's what Roland Emmerich makes right? He makes these big cinematic movies like Stargate, and the Day after tomorrow. However 10,000 BC is epic for an entirely different reason, it is of course an epic pile of sh*t... too harsh you say, I think not.

For starters all our "cave men" have designer dreads and perfectly clipped goaties. The script is laughable so much so that there is no need to elaborate; a 5th grader coulda pumped out something with more depth.

It really sicken me to see Hollywood pump out crap like this, not even Cliff Curtis who is a great actor (check out Whale Rider if you haven't already) could save this film, as for the young lead Steven Strait, I'm sure he thought this would be a big break for him... but my advice would be stop acting Steve, you suck (ok that was a little harsh... but that's how I feel today).

If you've recently had a lobotomy you may enjoy this movie.

it can be best described as bad sex, the initial idea was tempting, but you just end up cranky and dissatisfied.
