Oh, no.
No no no no.
This movie is a crass attempt to capitalize on the chemistry between Kate Hudson and Matthew McShirtless, and it fails. In a huge way. The plot attempts to be a convoluted treasure hunt mystery, but is simplistic and insulting. The chemistry between the two stars is undeniable, and makes the movie almost bearable, but neither one can make up for the atrocious script. The only other pluses are the two gay chefs and an appearance by Ray Winstone. I would have given the movie three stars if he had screamed "I AM BEOWULF!" when he jammed the spear in that dude's leg.
This is a movie that may be good for a watch if you catch it on HBO...late at night...geeked out on Nyquil. Other than that, feel free to avoid it.
