All action, no dicking around
I saw the Grindhouse films in theatres three times. Yes, three. That's a lot of hours devoted to two movies and some pretty badass faux-trailers in between. But it was SO worth it to see both films on the big screen.
Planet Terror is all action, all the time, from beginning to end. The way it is filmed is PURE GOLD, their is an epic 'missing reel' joke in it that will surely have you wanting more. But honestly, guys: SEE THIS MOVIE.
There were so many cameos in this film, I can't even begin to explain it. Bruce Willis is great. Naveen Andrews (aka: Sayid from Lost) is amazing. And really...Quentin Tarantino's role was classic. If you ever want to see what will happen if you try to rape a girl, watch this film.
This movie does not disappoint. People are getting infected by a virus that turns people into flesh-eating zombies. Rose McGowan is a go-go dancer who loses her leg and her boyfriend, El Wray, crafts her a machine gun leg. You don't even have to pull the trigger. You point and it shoots.
Yeah.
It's just that kind of movie.
Filled with over-the-top blood and gore fans of Kill Bill may get squeamish by, you will end this movie feeling pumped and ready to kick ass or have some crazy sex. Seriously, see this movie. You will not be disappointed.
