What's on your bucket list?

Favorite Movie Quotes from : The Bucket List

Edward Cole : There are three things that an old man should never do....Skip a bathroom, waste a hardon or trust a fart.

The Bucket List starts off as the great Morgan Freeman narrates. He is a hard working auto mechanic that finds out quickly into the film that he has the cancer. Jack Nicholson which happens to be the owner of the hospital also finds out that he has the cancer.

They are stuck rooming together because Nicholson has been under constant fire for his hospital having an overcrowded patient population and his assistants feel as if it would be a PR mistake for him to receive his own room. It takes a while but Edward Cole (Nicholson) and Carter Chambers (Freeman) develop a very strong bond with each other. After vigorous amounts of chemotherapy and experimental treatments both men learn that they have between 6 months to a year to live.

Right before Carter finds this out he started to make a "bucket list," something he learned from a professor in school which basically is a to-do list of things that you want to accomplish before you kick the bucket. After he gets the bad news he scraps it but the next morning Cole finds it and it gives him a great idea.

He talks Carter into embarking on a fantastic journey for the next few months in which they can accomplish everything they want to make their lives complete. Carter is skeptical at first but after being assured that money is no problem and with a little arm twisting he agrees even though his wife is completely against it.

First thing to do is SKYDIVING........then follows racing Mustang Cobras, visiting the pyramids, visiting the great wall of China, Hong Kong etc, etc,..........

After months of travel there are two things left on the bucket list. One is to help a complete stranger and the other is to witness something truly majestic...you will have to see the movie to see how these things are carried out as Carter gets too sick to accompany Cole for these last wishes.

It is magic on screen to see such high levels of talent act along side of each other. Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson are probably two of the most talented actors to ever have lived. The dialogue is wonderful and the film although dealing with sad issues, fits in comedy at the perfect moments. The audience in the theatre could not stop laughing and clapped while the credits rolled.
