Movie Review by Krissy
June 18th, 2008

This movie somehow wound up in my blockbuster online queue...must have been bored one day. Anywho...I was very surprised how much I liked this movie. I figured it would be just another chicka flicka, but it wasn't. I really like Harry Connick Jr in this film...he was refreshingly straight foward and brutally honest while somehow mangaging to be love-a-ble! He looks a little hell bent in this movie, which I really liked.

Hilary is one of my favs anyways and I think she really pulled off this character. She's such a goob, I wouldn't be surprised if half the singing she did in this movie was written in by her. I really loved Kathy Bates, but ever since seeing her in Misery...I keep excepting her to break someone's legs....but still, gotta love the Bates.

I didn't care to much for Phebe...er...I mean Lisa Kudrow. I am starting to wonder if she will ever stretch herself farther than anything 'Phebes'. She is the same old same old in this movie.

I know it would take me a while to get over my hubby kicking the bucket... more so if it was at such a young age like in this story.
So in my humble opinion, put this on your list to watch...I laughed, I cried,...I have now designed my husbands urn....ya know the usual.
