So close to perfection...
Honest to blog this was the funniest movie I have ever seen in my entire life! The amazingly realistic dialog still has me in stitches (and I saw this flick over a week ago!)
Fun fact: As soon as I left the theater I bought a pack of orange tic tacs!
The only thing keeping this from being a perfect movie was the casting. The entire cast was excellent...except for Ellen Page, who was just alright. This film could have been so much better if an actress with real ability was allowed to give Juno the emotional depth that was so desperately required. The only person that could have pulled this off believably is Jessica Alba!
In all Ronesty, I didn't find this movie two be all that funny...or that good...I'm also not nearly as hip as Diablo Cody

Ron Ron Ron......please tell me our f*cking joking. To give this movie 1 star is an absolutle travesty in itself but to state that Jessica f*cking Alba should have played Juno McGuff, well that just makes me sick to my stomach.
Ellen Page carried that film she has gone from strength to strength and has taken on roles that actor much older than her could never handle.... and what has Jessica done except look hot and flash peguin panties, I have shat out things with more talent than Jessica Alba. |

| Wow, I can't believe you went from "funniest movie I have ever seen in my entire life!" to "I didn't really find this movie to be all that funny". Your contradiction invalidates this review. I am furthermore astonished that you were able to name the one actress that could not play the role of Juno. |

Soooooo what do you take in to consideration when rating a movie? Because Ronestly, you're all over the board here. Do you think about the intent of the actors' demeanor? The soundtrack? Or just the hot factor when compared to Jessica Alba.
Common Ron, really? Have you even listened to the soundtrack? First of all, you contradicted yourself in your review. . . Was it funny?! Was it not? You certainly cant decide.
Ellen Page's lack of emotional depth was critical in defining her character, and i assure you it was intentional. Had the leading actress been less detached then this movie wouldn't have been nearly as ironic or dark humored.
And Jessica Alba? It's ok if you have a schoolboy crush of the lady, really, but for this movie? Page's part? Really Ron.
in all Ronesty? you're Rontarded. |

i bet that any young woman who actually made an adoption plan for their unplanned pregnacy would have more real emotions that ellen page managed to muster together for this performance...
i can't blame her though, because the writing was terrible. not even the most desperately seeking attention teens spend every second speaking in slang...
the only good parts in the movie were the role played by the adults... apparently ms. cody understands adults more than she does pregnant teenagers....
i was dissapointed with the was she trivialized it. |
