Loved it!
Yeah, Disney finally got a sense of humor about themselves. Well, at least in this movie. I loved the songs, the characters, the plot, and the casting. Great job with the dialogue and the clever allusions to other Disney movies.
I plan to buy the soundtrack for this one as I've been humming the songs since I saw it. I wouldn't mind going back to the theater to see it again and I never do that.
As a natural redhead myself, it was nice to see a redhead in the major role here. I don't know if she's a natural one but she's a believable redhead (unlike, Kirsten Dunst in Spider-Man, blech). I've loved Patrick Dempsey for a long time so he's a wonderful straight man in this flick. James Marsden as the prince was a stroke of genius. He is the perfect Prince. And who I wouldn't kill to play Susan Sarandon's role. I think there's no better part than the villain and she does a fabulous job of being evil.
So enough raving. Watch it. You'll laugh.
