Harvey (1950)

James Stewart and a Rabbit
A sweet little movie about a dopey older man who converses with an imaginary rabbit named Harvey. His confusion upsets his family who try to have him committed which leads to a bunch of weird circumstances that end in...of course, hilarity!
James Stewart is perfectly cast in this dopey sweet role, one of America's favorite actors, he really can make you love anything.
The comment on human goodness and respect makes a much bigger impact than the silly love story, so this film does achieve its goals.
Somewhat slow, but sweet.
