Good stuff... good stuff... good stuff
I watched this movie some time back on cable and while I couldn't place it by name when I added it into the database, I remembered it the minute it started playing. Available on the "Watch It Now" feature at NetFlix, this is probably one of the best updated versions of the ANIMAL HOUSE-style movies that get released about pledging to fraternities.
Dylan Bruno has a voice that could sell a girl any day of the week. As the bad guy in THE ANARCHIST'S COOKBOOK, he got a little annoying, but as a basic, f*cked-up-my-knee-playing-football jock boy, he's actually kind of charming.
The movie features a lot of character actors, from Kate Hudson's big brother, Oliver to Laura Harris as the blonde girl who gets lusted after (I know her best as Daisy Adaire from "Dead Like Me") to Todd Giebenhain, the guy who in this flick looks a little like Constantine from American Idol but was Francis' friend on "Malcolm in the Middle" to Steve Monroe who I will always remember as being the Tabasco sauce guy (the commercial where the mosquito drinks his blood and then explodes into a ball of fire) to Simon Rex who was a VJ on MTV and then started making B movies like this one (aside from mocking Eminem wonderfully in SCARY MOVIE 3) to Corey Pearson who... um... well, I just like his face.
The movie has a few solid laugh-out-loud moments, but for the most part is just a really good cheap, T&A flick. Lots of crude jokes about sex, women, homosexuality and the sizes of dicks. Honestly, in a film of this genre, could you really ask for more.
Notes: Why didn't they notice the black dude's dick in the Little Tea Pot scene and what was up with the chick with the implants having nipples that faced NorthEast and NorthWest? Ugh. Do people actually PAY to be mutilated that badly?
Chris Owen, the Sherminator, is like the Mariah Carey of this type of movie. I hope one day he'll be able to graduate into something more grown-up, or else look like the silly 36 year old chick in the bikini who goes mental. Although that's appealing to some. Still, he'd have to have t*ts to pull that one off. Perhaps the bad boob job chick can show him where to get some.
