Movie Review by Steven
August 28th, 2009

I didn't think I would like "The Brave One", but I did anyway. Jodie Foster plays a NYC DJ who is attacked in Central Prak with her fiancee (she is the only survivor). She tries to ignore people when they tell her she needs to turn her life around. She soon becomes a vigilaante and the the film becomes a mystery in some way. Terrence Howard is great the the cop who does beleieves she is the vigilante and doesn't blame her to some degree. The film was directed by Neil Jordan who is known for dark, atmospheric energy. He directed "Interview with the Vampire" and "The Crying Game". He creates a good balance of drama and suspense. Like I said: i didn't think i would like, but i liked it anyway.
