Better but Not Good
Certainly not as annoying as the original, this sequel follows the same squeaky clean cast of teens. This time around they are embarking on their first jobs working at the country club of Sharpay's family.
Zac Efron plays the cutie patootie lead ...(read more)and he is not as aggravatingly perfect as the first film. Here he falters and must repent.
The rest of the cast is fairly dull, with the exception of Ashley Tisdale as the uber-b*tchy Sharpay. She has a lot of fun with her over the top role and she keeps the ball rolling with her divaness.
By no means a great movie, but better than the first.
