Amazing
The Bourne Ultimatum is the third and final film in the excellent Bourne series. The first film, Identity, was a great film directed by Doug Liman. The film succeeded nicely and was a great start to the series. The second movie, Supremacy, was directed by Paul Greengrass. The whole series changed after the second movie, adding more action and a different, better directing style. Well, Greengrass has returned to continue the series. The directing and visual style are the greatest aspects of the movie. Plus, the extreme suspense and action packed chase scenes are fantastic.
Matt Damon is not my favorite actor of all time. Surprisingly, he does an amazing job in the series. He gets the character just right, then completely blew me away with his acting talent and love for the character. Now having a bigger part is Nikki, played by Julia Stiles. She had a small part in the second movie, but she has a bigger one now. She is a good actress and I was really happy to see her performance.
Paul Greengrass is an amazing director. Doing a solid job in United 93, he really improves the Bourne series in what he does behind the camera. The first movie was very steady with the camera and did a lot of wide shots. Now, the camera is nice and shaky with plenty of zoom ins and outs. Mainly, the action scenes are better because of the camera. There are two major chases in the movie which were both seriously exciting. The car chase scene was really an accomplishment in the action world.
Bottom Line: Exciting and Action Packed
