The Immigrant (1917)

Sweet Little Chaplin
A sweet little story about love between immigrants as they come to America. Chaplin is great in the restaurant scene, trying to find a way to save face in front of his lady love.
This film is short and sweet, by no means a classic of the Chaplins, but it gives perspective on how much he grew as an actor and filmmaker.
