Heh... go figure

It's not as if I was in the best of moods when I saw this movie yesterday. I should be rating it more harshly. Or maybe not.

See, as I've said many times before, I don't read comic books. I don't know the history, what the characters are supposed to look like and all that jazz. I just go to see the movies and determine if they're entertaining.

And this one is entertaining. It's got some fairly good action that isn't taken too over the top. It's got the standard lame dialog but a couple of good sections thrown in (the quarterback/geek speech is a good one).

This was something that my Midget liked but wasn't blown away with. My main gripe is that the female characters are made to be a little too pretty for what they do. The Army chick in general. But I figure that's usually what comic books do, so it seemed true to that style at least.

And Chris Evans just had this body that is yummy. Can't complain about the fact that we saw more skin on a guy in this movie than on the girls.

Not "Fantastic" but not too bad either. And this is coming from someone who pretty much hates everything right now.

Hello Awesome Zara,
I liked reading comic books but I didn't read or get into this one! I did see some of the TV seris shows though! I really didn't like this movie but I did like the ending because I had the idea that the "Silver Surfer"(that was another comic book, his own)just maybe their next movie from comic books was going to be a silver surfer movie!!! We shall see..... I did like and thought very funny that when they changed into each others powers the best was between the rock and flame boy...
Take care,Always! Bill

I doubt if I will see this anytime soon (I don't have a Midget to take to the movies), but I hear that it is good for those who love comics because it is wham-bam brainless, unlike more pretentious films (Batman, Spider-Man, Superman). I don't know, as i like the pretentious ones.
