I'm actually rather sad that I paid for this movie with someone else's money.
My mom handed me some cash and told me to take my daughter to a movie yesterday. I had absolutely no intention of watching this movie, or even of NetFlixing it when it came out on DVD. I figured that eventually I would stumble upon it on Comedy Central and watch the edited version if I was so inclined.
This movie isn't funny. It isn't gross. It doesn't even have much "ice skating." Jenna Fischer is popular from the American version of The Office on TV, but I'd like to know why so many men drool over her. She's below average looking, her voice is obnoxious and she has zero acting talent or personality.
Will Arnett and Amy Poehler are good performers completely wasted here. Jon Heder better have invested his money because whatever was good about him has dissipated. Will Ferrell... geez. Here's a guy who makes crap like this over and over but is capable of pulling a STRANGER THAN FICTION out of his ass. I don't know what to say about him.
An awful flick. But even worse was trying to explain to my kid why it was so awful.

Jenna Fisher is sort of like Jennifer Aniston's less talented cousin. A lot of dudes here in the 'heartland' love to imagine her as the naughty librarian. At least, that's what I'm told, because, you're right, very little appeal.
