Movie Review by Suzanne

Filler Movie (beginning spoiler)

This is an action packed movie with some blood and a mediocre amount of gore, with that definite sequel feel. Sequels are made to be a continuation of the original story not necessarily having anything in common with it. For me, sequels are never that great because its usually just a filler. (Thats not to say there arent some great sequels out there...)

AVPR takes off right where AVP left off. The alien incubating inside the dead warrior predator gets loose on the ship along with several live Alien facehuggers. A predator gun goes off in the fight and the ship hurtles back to Earth. Before dying, a predator sends a distress signal to the homeworld. One badarse muther of a predator gets the message and flies to Earth to rectify the situation which takes place in suburban Colorado.

I give this movie a 7. I liked it. I didnt love it. However I do believe all action adventure special effect flicks should be seen on the bigscreen. This movie was lacking something in the plot which couldve made it better. My favorite character was the older brother. AVP was definitely better.
