The Best Film of 2007 & My All-Time Favorite Film

Shooter Movie Review

Director: Antoine Fuqua

Actors: Mark Wahlberg, Danny Glover, and Michael Pena

Rated R: For Strong Graphic Violence and Some Language

An expert sniper (Wahlberg) has basically retired and is living in exclusion. He is allured back into action by an assassination plot against the president of the United States. When he is double crossed and framed for the attempt he must now stay on the run and try to unveil who the real killer is and why he was setup.

Shooter was the most badass get even film I have seen since Kill Bill 1&2. Shooter had Magnificent Acting, Great Directing, Kickass Special Effects, and Fantastic Writing. Shooters Acting was no doubt the film's best aspect, my all-time favorite Actor Mr. Mark Wahlberg does a magnificent and amazing job as the role of Bill Lee Swagger, he's such a badass in this film and he's been my all-time favorite actor since The Italian Job and him in this movie just proves me right. Danny Glover does an awesome job as Colonel Isaac Johnson, a backstabbing two faced Whitehouse man. Michael Pena as Nick Memphis and Kate Mara as Sarah Fenn do both very good jobs as the supporting actors both were very real and seemed to be the right people for the parts. Other actors did good jobs but those four stood out the most for me.

The Special Effects for Shooter were the second best aspect the special effects were awesome I loved when they basically blew up the house in the middle of the film, and there really wasn't a ton of graphic violence in this film but it is strong and just enough. I loved how real everything looked and I absolutely loved how the actors acted around the explosions.

The Writing and Directing are the last two good aspects I will mention, I loved how well the characters developed and how they were previously developed, before they developed even more. The Director and Writer of this film did something tried by so many other films, but the difference is they actually succeeded at it, they made an actual get even movie with a lot more to it, more than just ass kicking revenge there's a story being told within the revenge story and they played it out absolutely wonderfully. One last thing I'd like to mention is how this film basically had no sex in it which can be done but not always done as good as it was in Shooter.

Overall Its Officially My New All-Time Favorite Movie and Mark Wahlberg Being My All-Time Favorite Actor Just Helps It Out Even More, I Recommend This Movie For Everyone
