Reign Over Me

I've put off seeing this movie for a very long time. I don't know if it's because I couldn't picture Adam Sandler in a drama or because I didn't like his hair. lol Anyway, I figured a movie with Don Cheadle couldn't be all that bad, and it wasn't. (Trust me, I've seen a lot worse!) It had me crying a little and it also made me laugh a few times. It held my attention and I do admit that Adam Sandler's character (Charlie Fineman) got on my nerves a couple of times. The way he spoke got on my nerves as well. Sometimes it sounded like he was mumbling. I liked the character that Don Cheadle portrayed. (Alan Johnson) No matter how mean Charlie was to Alan, Alan still hung in there and was a good friend to Charlie.

I didn't have high expectations about this movie, but all I can say is that I don't regret seeing it and Adam didn't do so bad.
