Finally!
DS Andy Wainwright: What are you thinking? Foul play? Maybe...
[to Danny and Nicolas]
DS Andy Wainwright: We're just hoping to talk to the last people to see Mr Merchant alive. Namely a Sergeant Knickerless Ass-wipe and c*ntstable Fanny Batterbum.
Danny Butterman: [smiling] Hey, that's us!

Yes, ladies and gents, I finally got to watch Hot Fuzz! Can you believe it? The funniest part of this whole thing is that I didn't read any of the reviews for it or the plot summary or anything about it...so...naturally, I thought it was going to be like a sequel to Shaun of the Dead...I kept waiting for zombies to come out...ha! *If you haven't seen it yet, sorry to spoil it, but there are no zombies!*
Now that we've all had a good hard laugh at my expense...on with the review!
My first clue that this was a good flick was that my 15 year old sister was the only other person in the house that liked it. I swear if my mom and her man say they didn't like, it's probably going to be one of the best movies I've seen. Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright are a hilarious team...always!
This story of Detective Nicolas Angel, who's a top cop in London, until he's reassigned to the country because he's making the other cops look bad. Of course he's paired the dimwit partner, whom he first meets by arresting him because he's drunk in public. Everything seems annoyingly calm to Angel until people start to die. All of the deaths being called accidents by the townspeople and his partner oblivious the "coincidences" and obvious foul play. Angel sets out to find the murder(s) and stumbles onto a secret the small country town has been keeping for years.
Hil-freakin-larious! I loved it! Definitely check it out!
