A Horrible Excuse for Horror

The Hills Have Eyes 2 Movie Review

Director: Martin Weisz

Actors: Daniella Alonso, Michael McMillian, and Michael Bailey Smith

Rated R: For Prolonged Sequences of Strong Gruesome Horror Violence and Gore, a Rape and Language

Contingents of National Guardsmen on a training mission in the Southwestern desert are set upon by that happy mutant family that has a hankering for human flesh. You'd think some body armor and automatic rifles would keep the soldiers safe ... but you'd be wrong.

The Hills Have Eyes 2 came from a semi crappy remake that was better than this piece of crap. The Hills Have Eyes 2 has Atrocious Acting, ok Directing, Crappy Special Effects, and Horrible Writing. The best aspect of The Hills Have Eyes 2 Is the Directing and that isn't even that good; I just liked how the director seemed to capture the desert.

The worst aspects of the film are a three way tie, the Acting, Directing, and Special Effects. The Special Effects in the film were however better than the horrific Acting and Writing. Some of the gore in the film was actually ok, basically thinking of one death and that is when my favorite mutant gets his head smashed to the brain, it was awesome. Other than that the gore was stupid I mean a guy breaking one leg off the body is so stupid and lame. The birth in the beginning was pretty gross I have to say so myself. The rape like in the remake was unneeded and stupid.

The Writing was utterly horrendous the story was lame and like I said when I reviewed the remake, this was a stupid movie about loser miners who are whining cause their homes were destroyed gosh damn, kill yourself and get it over with. Anyway the Acting in the film isn't even worth talking about.

Overall This Horrible Sequel Is Horrible and I Learned This the Hard Way

This is a horrible movie. The thing that made the first good was that it was actually scary and the gore was amazing. This film just was an average sequel.
