Powell and Lombard...Yummy!
A comedy about a rich girl playing a scavenger hunt who must find a 'forgotten man', who lives in a shanty town under the bridge, to win the prize. She then makes him the family butler and, of course, falls in love with him.
A simple enough story, but when the girl is Carole Lombard at her over-dramatic spoiled rich girl best; and the butler is William Powell, slowly becoming my second favorite actor of the era (after Cary Grant of course), the film becomes a classic.
