Who's the dummy now?

My Favorite Movie Quotes from Dead Silence :

Det. Jim Lipton: [walks up to Jamie] Can you help me with a missing persons case? I'm looking for a male.
[points to Jamie's Head]
Det. Jim Lipton: Bout this tall. Sometimes seen with a hand up his ass.

Very disappointing.....as great as films as the Saw trilogy this film should not be associated with them at all. Besides having a similar looking doll really there is nothing about this film that remotely resembles Saw.

The Bad : Very bad script...The previews made the film look scary and even my kids did not jump or really get scared one time. I rented the unrated version and why its unrated is beyond me there really was not any gore..

I was hoping for some really freaky sh*t....really the scariest parts in the film is when the doll is just sitting in a room not doing anything. The whole plot is really kind of silly.....kind of a Candyman copy with a doll or something pretty stupid.

The Good: Donnie Wahlberg's performance was really good and his character has some pretty good dry jokes. I enjoyed him which is strange for me. Also you get to see Bob Gunton from Shawshank Redemption which is always nice. Other then that the acting is lame.

I really would stay away from this.....the previews are very misleading and this could really classify almost as a drama rather then a horror movie.

I really thought that this was a bad movie. James Wan really crashed somewhere between this and SAW.
