This was by far a more interesting portrayal of the Sparta 300 than the History channel could provide. I was intrigued by the slow motion during the battle scenes. Zack Snyder has done a phenomenal job painting a true picture of close combat by spear and sword. The battles were great. The Spartan Queen, admirable. Overall, a gruesome, gory, enjoyable film.
