Movie Review by Zara

Way to Make me Feel Sorry for Marisa Tomei

I read in an interview somewhere that "when the man with the best body is William H Macy, you know you have a comedy,"

There are moments in this film that are pretty good comedy. The easy jokes where the true facets of life are made fun of. The problem is that the jokes based on the men's age can't sustain an entire movie (let alone one episode of a television show, although I've noticed that hasn't stopped TV from churning out this crap.)

I give the movie probably more credit than it deserves because Ray Liotta is in it and Liotta can do no wrong in my eyes. I'm surprised that he wasn't added to the list in which Macy was determined to have the best body. But then again, this was about 4 buddies standing up to the corners that they'd painted themselves into in their lives.

A decent movie that should play well with the older crowd (and apparently has by the look of the box office receipts) but there isn't much to hold anyone else's interest for very long. Brief moments of decent but not great humour just don't make up a movie for me.

I'm sorry, but John looked damn good in this! I don't care what you say!
