Kevin Arnold and Mr. Minivan

When I was younger I watched this film over and over again. I absolutely adored it.....I own the DVD even now and watch it occasionally. I guess every kid fears the boogeyman or monsters under their bed at one point of their life....Little Monsters gives children a different outlook on fear that maybe there could be friendly monsters that would not try and kill you.

Fred Savage although nothing will ever change him from Kevin Arnold is good in this film. He is always a joy to watch he just brings a certain element to whatever he does. Daniel Stern (one of my favorites) is awesome with his dry humor and serious personality. I hate to say it because I normally can not stand Howie Mandel but he was even ok in this flick. Probably because he is in makeup so it tricked me into not quite realizing who it was.

If you think about it .........how cool would it be to have monsters as your friends that could get into the house of every bully you know and do whatever your mind could think of to get back at them for all the crap they had done to you.

"Who put piss in my apple juice?" Just one example of things that could be done....

Ben Savage which is Fred's younger brother plays his little brother in the film which is kind of cool in its own way. Its an 80's movie so expect 80's graphics and 80's jokes but if your like me then that's the best kind!

Speaking of which... we have a copy of this now. Hmm... wonder where we got it?

I think I'll watch this with My Midget now and see if she wants to do a review for it.
