Movie Review by B Movie Ben
March 22nd, 2008

Kiss me on impulse! Surprise me!

Favorite Movie Quote: "In pretending to be a man in love, he became a man in love."

At first I thought that I was going to have to follow multiple plots that may all tie together at the end. Then I realized that no, it would be separate stories; each giving a little taste of Paris.

I spent a weekend in Paris - Montmartre, Notre Dame, French onion soup, escargot, wine, rain, rude waiters - it went by in a blur. But, this was much more satisfying. It was like a night in Modena where I sampled many different pastas with different sauces. All were satisfying; some sublime. They left an indelible impression as I washed them down with Lambrusco.

This sampling of the different tastes, the different languages, the different stories of the City of Love was more than satisfying. Each director brought out something special about the city. Some made you laugh, some made you cry, but they all gave you a taste of Paris.

It is a film that can be watched over and over and you will leave with something new each time.
