Movie Review by Tim
January 28th, 2008

Wow...we have come so far.

Favorite Movie Quote: "hahahahahahahahahaha"

This review will be short as the entire film is less then two seconds long. However it is worth speaking of because its believed to be the first film ever made.

It was made by Louis Aimé Augustin Le Prince and the film depicts Adolphe Le Prince (Le Prince's son), Mrs. Sarah Whitley, (Le Prince's mother-in-law), Joseph Whitley and Miss Harriet Hartley. The 'actors' are shown walking around in circles and includes 4 frames.

2 seconds is hard for me to come up with something incredible to say about it but I will say that it will blow your mind knowing that its the first time something was recorded...and now looking at special effect films like The Matrix or Lord of the Rings...you just cant help to think how lucky you are that you live in the time period we are in.

I watched this film probably 15 times trying to capture every little detail and will say that if you would like to watch it, its available on youtube. There is also some clips where people have taken the film and edited things into it which were really comical and fun to watch. Just search by the movie title.
