Favorite Movie Quote: "Be White. Live White. Like this."

Why? Why in the world would Danny Boyle think for one second about remaking this film. It is a classic with Yeong-ae Lee as the star, and Chan-wook Park as the director. I am so tired of Hollywood stealing great Asian movies to remake them with so-called stars that can't come close to the originals - Infernal Affairs and Il Mare, to name two.

Yeong-ae Lee was brilliant as she plotted her vengeance and I have to say that I was blown away. The prison scenes were funny and so perfect. Well, maybe their could have been a shower scene.

I was so expecting her revenge to be so predictable. The last half hour of this film is just simply brilliant. Park and Seo-Gyeong Jeong wrote a masterpiece.

No, it would not be better with a Hostel finish. It was perfect as it was. It was art instead of torture-porn. How could you possibly improve on this? Stay away from this, Hollywood. It doesn't need you.
