A Labyrinth Worth Crossing

Congratulations to Guillermo del Toro for writing and directing such fabulous fairy tale! The movie immediately transports one to scenes full of magic and at the same time, realism. The actors performance was convincing and they were so immersed in the character that at moments, lead me to believe, that the scene was actually real. Writing this movie during the Franco era, was an excellent idea, as there is always a lot going on during revolutions and some of us dream and perhaps "escape" to a magic world. By watching this movie, one can tell that Guillermo del Toro took his time, writing, brilliantly directing and choosing scenes and locations. A movie worth watching!!!
