Factory Girl
Factory Girl tells the story of the rise and fall Edie Sedgwick (Sienna Miller). She's a wealthy party girl who drops out of school and meets a young Andy Warhol (Guy Pearce) and became his muse in the mid-sixties. While enjoying the status, she soon discovers that becoming someone glamorous has its price. Hayden Christensen (Shattered Glass, Star Wars Episodes 1-3) and Jimmy Fallon (Fever Pitch, SNL) co-stars in the film. Also note, I watched the unrated version of this film. I liked the way Director George Hickenlooper (The Man From Elysian Fields) directed this film as I felt I was in that time period, in the sixties. He also goes great job in getting good performances from his actors. Both Sienna Miller and Guy Pearce have great chemistry together. Guy Pearce proves in his performance in this film that he is one of this generation's most under-rated actors. He does a great job portraying Andy Warhol. Also, I enjoyed the story and screenplay, as my interest was kept throughout the film. The only problem I had with this film was that it should have gone a little deeper into Edie Sedgwick's childhood but nonetheless I'm going to recommend Factory Girl.
