Movie Review by Renee
December 21st, 2007

Rocky is back!

I will start by saying that this movie is definately a must see for anyone that's a Rocky fan.

This movie recieved a lot of pre-release press, with some saying that this movie shouldn't have even been made. But as most of the reviews are saying, it's definately a knock-out. And that includes this reviewer as well.

I will say that it's not what you expect from a Rocky movie. I'll also tell you that Talia Shire does not play in this final farewell to one of the greatest underdog stories of our time. Ok, of my time anyway. Paulie is the same old Paulie, and little Rocky is now all grown up.

The synopsis is the same as the previous versions. I must admit that a tear came to my eye for the first few opening scenes and almost at the end of a movie. You really feel sad for Rocky.

It's like the end of an era, at least for me.

I kind of got the feel that it was the end of the end for Rocky in the 5th installment. But you'll definately know that you won't be seeing any more of Rocky in theatres after watching Rocky Balboa.

There are people who like Rocky, and some who don't. Kind of like sushi, you either like it or you don't.

My advice is see it! You won't be disappointed.

I'm definately looking forward to this box set!
