Movie Review by Emily
February 7th, 2007

((SPOILERS)) Oh dear god. What a waste of time. This movie was so stupid that I actually laughed at a sad part, and my friend thought I was crying, but no. Ok, so it's about an unlikely hero, (no, not cliche AT ALL!) Eragon (Ed Speelers), who finds out that he is the chosen rider of a dragon, who just so happens to be COMPLETELY loyal and fast growing. He is accompanied in saving a "fair young maiden, Aria (Sienna Guillory), but an old, ex rider, played by Jeremy Irons, and they go on a quest to defeat all evil, which happens to be john Malkovich, only they never do get to him.

What can I say? They must have paid JEremy Irons, John Malkovich, and Rachel Weisz far too much to be in this movie, becuase they were the only talent in this film, including special effects, script, shooting, acting, and above all, plotline, though I suppose that we have christopher Paolini to blame for that one. In all, it was a poorly made, almost entirely poorly acted (with the exception of the people named above), poorly written, and just plain stupid, Lord of the Rings-turned-sour knock off, and I would advise avoiding this flick for EVERY reason.

Ok. I've calmed down about this movie, so for my FULL opinion, read my review. You are right. The movie was terrible. They ruined it completly, but the REAL plot in the book is so good. Read the book before you knock CP.

BTW, it's Arya not Aria. Another thing they ruined.

gah, stupid me. Never read the book. I don't like CP for other reasons, I'm sure the book is fine. I don;t like fantasty books either, I"m kind of annoying pain in the ass.

Are you nuts???? That movie was BURSTING with good acting, an amazing storyline, ABSOLUTELY STUNNING special effects, and a little pinch of romance. Well, who am I to try and push you into liking a movie you just DON'T?
