Rocking and F*cking Rolling and F*cking Rocking...
I FREAKIN' LOVE THE D!
After saying that, I'm sure you'll come to the quick and accurate assumption that I freakin' loved this movie! Now, just like Jessica warned, if you don't like Jack Black or Tenacious D then you probably wont dig this flick either. It's funny as hell to me though. I love Jack Black more for his music than his acting so this movie really rocked my socks off! After watching trailer after trailer and teaser after teaser and even seeing music videos of some of the songs from the flick, you'd think I would've been disappointed, since I seem to have already seen the movie through those clips and videos, but I was still utterly and completely into it and rocking through the whole thing. I recieved it on Friday through my Netflix account and by the time Monday came, this morning, I did not want to return it at all! I watched at least 3 whole times and some partial times as well over the weekend!
It's about...well...Jack Black and Kyle Gass comming together as a band and trying to find the pick of destiny which is made from the broken tooth of the devil. It's hilarious the things these two guys get into on their journey to break into the Rock n Roll History Museum...including a side-splitting trip on mushrooms where Jack Black has an adventure with Sasquash...who turns him into his baby Sasquash! It's freakin great! Go...see it...now!
