Movie Review by Bob
November 30th, 2006

A break from the norm

It seems like just about every new movie hitting the theaters anymore is an incarnation of something that has already been done. Good movies use less -- but copying something from another movie is generally constant. This is the first movie that I have seen that takes everything that a normal movie is made up of and smashes it. From beginning to end, you don't know what to expect because your mind can't even figure out what type of movie it is and I think that is one of the best elements of a movie: keep people guessing.

One of the most surprising things about this movie is that it has a decent amount of suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It also keeps you laughing at and with the characters in the movie. You certainly feel a bond with everyone and you leave the theater with a really good feeling.

Stranger Than Fiction has easily become my favorite movie and it's a movie I will certainly be seeing again before it leaves the theaters.
