Gun Control

If any of the Dems really want gun control they should show this movie. The main characters play with guns like they're toys. It's kind funny in an ironic way, but it's not enough to push the movie to being as striking as it aims to be. Harsh Times tries to be somewhere in between Training Day and Taxi Driver, but the dialogue just isn't there. The dialogue relies too much on cussing for the affect and never applies style. The thread is never quite solid, always relying on Bale's insanity rather than plot to hold the viewer's attention.

The bright spot of the movie is Christian Bale. The more movies he makes the more he shows what a good actor he is. As long as he doesn't become known simply as Batman, he'll be holding an Oscar someday.

I totally agree with you....Bale was the only reason I watched this movie.
