Movie Review by Andrea
August 1st, 2007

Slap-stick comedy.

I kept waiting for a decent plot and never got one. Most of the time it was stupid fun. Ed finds his wife in bed with his best friend and he begs for her to stay with him. She leaves him. This sets the tone for the film. Stupidity. He is a collector of home videos that he takes himself. Finally, when the plot of the film was figured out, I just sat back and waited for Ed to get laid. I mean, basically, that was the plot of the film. Ed has the weekend to save his job by creating a winning ad for the company that his firm can't seem to close with a client. He plans to work the whole weekend but his brother, Coop sets out to get Ed laid.

Does he get laid or not? Does he save his job? Those are the questions but at the end of the film. I didn't really give a hoot whether he saved his job or got laid.

I've always liked Brendan Fehr because of The Forsaken but this film puts a damper on that. Never been a fan of Chris Klein and never will be.
