Movie Review by Jenny
February 26th, 2007

If I could give 0 stars, this would be the movie to give it to.

First of all, we have Richard Dreyfuss trying to kill himself.
Then, he changes his mind once he finds out he's screwed because of the rogue wave.
Then, he kicks Freddy Rodriguez (Six Feet Under, Can't Hardly Wait, and others) in the FACE to save his own skin.
Wait a minute...didn't he just try to commit suicide? Now he's trying to kill other people to stay alive? No.

K, then we have really bad acting by Emmy Rossum doing the "whiny-my parents don't understand me-teenager bit".

Then we have Emmy Rossum's wimpy boyfriend saying that he'll save everyone. Only to have Kurt Russell, the only character in the movie with a shred of dignity and respect, sacrifice his life to save everyone elses. This is probably the biggest group of dislikeable characters ever assembled on the big screen, and Kurt Russell is saving them? No.

I really didn't give a crap about the special effects. The rest of the movie just couldn't save it. I really have nothing good to say about this movie.
