Movie Review by Jenny

Sometimes you just need bad horror movies. They're like a palate cleanser.

Tamara is a mix between "The Craft", "She's All That", and "I Know What You Did Last Summer". Tamara is an *ugly* girl (typical from "Not Another Teen Movie" - take down her ponytail and change her clothes, and she's gorgeous) who has a secret crush and is teased by everyone at school. She's got an abusive alchoholic father at home, and she takes up a little witchcraft on the side. She's not a real witch, since the first spell we see her perform doesn't do anything. Or so we think.

There were some parts in the movie that were great. There was an awesome death scene in the school, for example. And Tamara has this power to control people's minds, so she gets the popular girl to do some cool stuff. I'm not giving away any details, these were the best parts of the movie.

There were some parts that were awesomely bad. For example, Tamara has mind control powers, right? She tells these two people under her mind contol to kill someone. Why are they hiding in the shadows? If they're "zombie-like", why don't they just go for it? What do they care? Also, there's a lot of time spent in a hospital. Why aren't there any doctors or nurses? And why did the kitchen staff leave hot grease turned on, and then abandon the kitchen and turn off the lights? Isn't that, y'know, a fire hazard? Oh there were so many more. But those were some of the best parts of the movie as well.

This movie was really a lot of fun to watch. It's one of those movies that you can sit on the couch and heckle, and boy did we ever.

Speaking of cover art nice shirt Zara.

There is a wicked payback scene with the two guys that caught me of guard the first time I saw it. I was like wow!

I tried really hard to like this. I read an article and Fangoria, and it looked cool. They showed some pictures of decent gore. So I rented it. Total honk shoe. You know? Honk, shoooooe, honk, shoooooe. Lame-o.
