Movie Review by Seth
October 28th, 2005

As Jon Stewart said to George Clooney on The Daily Show:

"Sir, I feel you should be less handsome."

It is true, Clooney shows some yet-unseen talents in this film that have nothing to do with his good looks or leading man talents ("I said you could fire a 'few' rounds."). The look of the film, the shots used, the style, writing, and directing are all top notch. And Clooney should get the credit he deserves for that.

There is really nothing in this film that gets you to sit on the edge of your seat. There are no surprise endings, huge laugh lines, or moments of dramatic tension. However, you still find yourself deeply engaged as you watch these people play out an important saga in American history.

It is poignant, informative, and inspiring. And well worth seeing.
