The Best Comedy of 2005

This was the funniest movie of 2005. You know the film is going to be a huge hit when you have such a great cast lead by two of the most sought after actors of today. Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn were terrific. The whole premise is that John and Jeremy [Wilson and Vaughn] are wedding crashers. They attend weddings to meet girls. When Jeremy finds out that the daughter of Treasury Secretary William Cleary [Walken] is getting married, they make plans to be there seeing how it's going to be the social event of the year. They each find their own girl and start the crashing. Jeremy's girl, Gloria Cleary [Fisher], Secretary's daughter, falls for Jeremy the instant she meets him. John's girl, Claire [McAdams], also Secretary's daughter, is a different story. She has a boyfriend who later becomes her fiance. John doesn't settle for this and the movie is based on him trying to win over the engaged girl. Overdone plot? Maybe. But this works.. the comedy and the actors make this film and Rachel McAdams ceases to disappoint me. She is one fine actress. One of the best of today. She will be big one day... really big. This film was awesome and everyone knows it. Hilarious appearance from Will Ferrell as Chazz, a fellow wedding crasher. Don't miss this film. Already went down in history as one hell of a comedy classic.
