New Line Cinema's Wedding Crashers
I have a feeling this movie was only made to draw the college/drunk/sex addict partyers who are exactly like Vaughn and Wilson and let that crowd enjoy their humor and get some laughs.
Not that there is anything wrong with that, mind you.
But I felt they knew they would get that crowd, do well at the box office, and get their money and be happy. Which it probably did, since this movie was sold out and will probably do good numbers at the box office.
But when you have such talented actors as Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson, Rachel Mcadams, and Christopher Walken .. why can't you AT LEAST add an interesting plot with it or something we haven't seen before?
So many scenes could have been very creative with humor and interesting. But most of the time they misfire and fall flat. Wilson and Vaughn are very funny and talented, they get laughs out of just smiling. But I wish this movie tried harder and did something original.
The plot is predictable, this movie is about a half hour to long, this movie is nothing we have not seen before in these types of films .. but it is very funny. So if you want to laugh, check out this movie. But overal as a movie, it's lacking, too long, and lacks any direction. The last half hour of the movie really drags and kind of goes all over the place.

I'm sure people will LOVE this movie due to the comedy and humor. And it is very funny. But like I said the last half hour of the movie really bounces you around and you are not sure if you are in a sappy funny movie, or a funny crude movie. This movie does not really know what it wants to be.

But overall, it is very funny. But don't expect anything else. I'm only recommending this movie for the Wilson/Vaughn
