Imagine yourself in complete darkness. You can’t believe that the seat you are in is twice as big as you or even bigger. Amazingly you are back at the fresh age of seven years old. Everything that surrounds you is completely innocent to your eyes. Then the picture show begins. You can’t believe it, but this is the movie you have been waiting for. Manufacturing all sorts of robots, possible or impossible, all created in your little noggin. Presenting 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky animation studios with the production of ''Robots”. Yeah, the title is completely obvious. I guarantee that you will be attending to a film focused around robots. Some might say the title unoriginal, but the detailed creativity that is illustrated on film is spectacular.
When I viewed this movie, I was embraced with a plot full of moral inspiration, a series of pictures illustrating intense artistry with precise elements of animation demonstrating cutting edge technodrama, and above all the impressive cast, who lend their voices, were unbelievable. The cast consists of Robin Williams, Halle Berry, Drew Carrey, Jennifer Coolidge, Mel Brooks, and Amanda Bynes. One could criticize that the narration is predictable and it lacks intensity and originality, but it can’t be too complicated and overwhelming for the child. Fortunately, it definitely meets the requirements for any child to watch. No lie… It’s a tale that holds no surprises. A robot, who you grow to love as he matures on film, named Rodney Copperbottom (voice of Ewan McGregor) leaves his mom and dad in Rivet Town to make his dream of becoming an inventor in Robot City come true. Inspiration through imagination. Touching one kid at a time. Hey, it’s straightforward with a few touching scenes. What were also worth mentioning about the show, were its splatters of humor. The robots even get to fart on screen, which is a crucial necessity essential for younger children. ye yeah. Anyway… again I must say that the visuals were impeccable… a pictorial beauty. The gadgets were fascinating and two individual intricate sequences were stellar -- one utilized an infinite trillion of toppled dominoes of all sizes and the other a billion marbles loosed in full fury.
It is definitely something worth taking your family to see. An absolute treasure for the kids and for the bigger child of all... the adult. The end results are a bunch of morals clumped into themes, such as no one is ever left behind, and everyone can "shine no matter what you're made of. So why not bring your children, your niece or nephew, your godchildren, your neighbor’s children, or just yourself to take a journey to the most fascinating world of “Robots”! And it’s more riveting in IMAX!
hey it's only my opinion... so go to the theater near you and see it for yourself. enjoy!
