Movie Review by Sheryl
February 9th, 2005

You, whoever you may be, probably will like this movie more than I did. Which is not to say that I didn't like it. Because, I did. It was a good movie.

The best part of this movie is the kid who plays Peter. The worst part of this movie is the mermaids. Just kidding. I often love Johnny Depp, and I didn't love him in this movie. I think he made a choice, and some may call it the perfect choice, but I honestly thought it was a rather un-exciting choice. I felt... Depp-rived. I wanted more.

Finding Neverland is, as you would expect, a story about telling stories, and about finding the truth where you least expect to find it. What was captured best in this movie is the nostalgia adults feel for their imagination, which once flourished, and is often inactive and creaky in our boring day jobs.

It is quite pleasing to sit back and allow yourself to fly like Tink in the imagination of James Barrie.
