One of The Best Horror Remakes I've Ever Seen
The Fog Movie Review
Director: Rupert Wainwright
Actors: Tom Welling, Maggie Grace, and Selma Blair
Rated PG-13: For Violence, Disturbing Images and Some Sensuality
A century in the past, off the coast of Northern California, a horrible shipwreck that might have involved foul play killed a crew of sailors. Now, their ghosts are back for revenge, traveling in the form of an eerie fog. That's bad news for the residents of a small town (Welling, Blair).
Well, there's not much I have to say about The Fog except it was probably the best horror remake anybody has every made. The Fog had Excellent Acting, Good Directing, Excellent Special Effects, and Superb Writing. The Acting in The Fog has got to be one of the movies best aspects, Selma Blair and Maggie Grace had the best performances out of the whole movie even thought Tom and the rest of the cast did a great job to. The Special Effects in The Fog were amazing I love them. How they showed the pirates as shadows and real ghosts was amazing. Another good aspect is that The Fog did not have a lot of gore in it at all and it still made the movie perfect. Basically The Fog was probably the best remake this year next two Star Wars Episode 3.
Overall If You Like Tom Welling or Selma Blair or Maggie Grace You'll Love This Movie

I'm beginning to worry about you Zach. First, I thought because we shared the same Z initial we might think similarly, but I'm beginning to wonder.
I wouldn't give this movie a bad review, but it was one of those movies that I just couldn't form an opinion on at all, it was that forgettable. I'd rather hate a movie than be completely dispassionate about it. |
